Sangakkara in Sri Lanka on two-day leave

Kumar Sangakkara, who is captaining the Dhaka Dynamites in the third season of the BRB Cables Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), left Dhaka for Colombo on two days’ vacation following the completion of the last match of the first phase on Friday.
Sangakkara, who played a stupendous innings with the bat on Friday night to make tournament-best 75 from 56 balls on his way to taking his team over the line against Sylhet Superstars, is expected to join with the team directly in Chittagong on Monday.
Dhaka Dynamites team manager Athar Ali Khan confirmed the matter on Saturday and further informed that the Sri Lankan legend went to his country Friday night to meet with his family.
“He (Sangakkara) has flown for Sri Lanka to meet with his family. He will stay there for two days. Thereafter, he will come back and join with the team in Chittagong directly from Colombo on November 30,” Khan told the reporters on Saturday.
It has also been learnt from Dynamites officials that Pakistani gigantic pacer Mohammad Irfan is also scheduled to come to enthrall the BPL local audience after the end of his national commitment against England in UAE.
