Dubai: Pakistan skipper for the shortest format of the game Shahid Afridi on Friday became the highest wicket-taker in Twenty20 cricket. The 35-year-old allrounder took three wickets of England batsmen in the second T20 international in Dubai.
He now has 86 wickets in same number of matches.
He removed England's top three batsmen - Jason Roy, Alex Hales and James Vince - in his four-over spell.
England won the second Twenty20 international by three runs to clinch the three-match series 2-0 despite a brilliant all-round effort from Afridi.
Afridi first took three wickets for 15 runs in his four overs to help restrict England to 172 for 8. He then smashed 24 runs from eight balls, with three sixes, to take his side to within 25 runs of victory in the last two overs.
