Lewis ton powers Barisal victory

Evin Lewis has powered Barisal Bulls to seal a mammoth 9-wicket victory hitting a fabulous century against Dhaka Dynamites at the 16th match of BPL at Chittagong on Tuesday.

Lewis hit the first century of the third round of BPL.

The West Indies young star scored an unbeaten 101 knock from only 65 balls hitting seven ground breaking boundaries and six whirlwind maximums.

Rony Talukdar was dismissed in the 14th over in an Abul Hasan delivery. He scored 38 off 34 balls.

Another fabulous all round display gifted Barisal Bulls a mammoth 9- wicket win against Dhaka Dynamites.  

After winning the toss, Barisal Bulls have enfolded the wheels of Dhaka Dynamites run wagon within 158 runs losing six wickets.

The Dhaka Dynamites got off to a bad start to set a fighting total as they lost four top order batters within 10 overs.

Dynamites skipper Sangakara guided his side with a tremendous innings of 60 runs off 47 balls hitting seven boundaries.

West Indian allrounder Cooper sent Sangakara back to the pavilion in 17th over.

Cooper picked the first wicket for Bulls. He sent Shykat Ali to the pavilion in a fresh delivery.

Shykat scored 15 runs.

Mahmudullah bagged Thirimanne in a shaky flighted delivery. He scored 5 before leaving the crease.  

The declaration followed 133 overs of often wayward bowling from the Black Caps.

Prasanna bagged the dynamite icon Nasir Hossain at the eighth over. He picked Abul Hasan at the 10th over.
