Nasir Hossain- The name of disappointment for Dhaka Dynamites

Nasir Hossain, the young talented player of Bangladesh Cricket team has been passing a very hard time recently. Though he was one of the icon players of Dhaka Dynamites in the third season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), but he failed to proof his class.

Dhaka Dynamites was also recruited another legend player of all time Kumar Sangakkara. Franchiser of the team has made him captain which helped Nasir to play pressure free cricket because before Sangakkara Nasir was named as captain.

But Nasir’s performance in the tournament was very ordinary, something which affected his team greatly as Dhaka crashed out from the Eliminator and won only four out of 11 matches.

After such a disaster, Khaled Mahmud Sujon, the adviser of Dhaka Dynamites didn’t hide his disappointment over Nasir’s performance.
Sujon said, “We had so much expectation from Nasir. He was our key player. We wanted to see him at the peak of his form that’s why we didn’t even want to put pressure on him by making him the captain. But overall he disappointed us. We wanted to count on Nasir’s ability but he failed miserably. But actually not only him alone, as a whole the entire team played poor cricket throughout the tournament”.

Sujon also revealed that the pacer Mustafizur Rahman couldn’t fulfill their expectation. However they still were happy with Mustafizur since has taken 14 wickets from 10 matches. “Taking in account the talent Mustafizur possesses, we were looking for more from him. We expected him to be in the race of the leading wicket-takers. Still what he has done is satisfactory. He had to bowl during tough circumstances, otherwise he could have got some more wickets. Our captain Sangakkara has become a great fan of Mustafizur. I believe this kid has still a long way to go,” added Sujon.
