The number of teams and venues will increase from the next BPL

The President of Bangladesh Cricket Board has said that at the November of next year, the cricket board is thinking to organize the 4th season of BPL. At the next season the number of team and venue will increase.

After almost two years BCB arranged the third season of BPL. Nazmul Hasan was talking with New Zealander commentator Danny Morrison in channel nine during the final of BPL. At that discussion the president of Bangladesh Cricket Board has said about the next season of BPL.

“We are very happy to see BPL’s popularity. We have a plan to arrange the fourth season of BPL in November of next year. This year we have seen the popularity in Dhaka and Chittagong, hopefully next season will be more popular and exciting. The venues and teams would be increased as well”, said Nazmul Hasan.

In 2012 at the first season of BPL, 6 teams had played. The venues of those matches were Dhaka and Chittagong. Next year the number of team was 7 and the venue was also increased. Khulna was the new venue of the 2nd season on BPL. But this year, again the number of the teams decreased into 6, and the venues were only Dhaka and Chittagong also.
