Tamim would be unavailable for the next two BPL matches


Tamim Iqbal, one of the most top run scorers of BPL and the captains of Chittagong Vikings has fallen into a groin injury on Thursday during the match against Comilla Victorians. There are two more matches left in the first round of BPL. Tamim probably can’t play these two matches.
Tamim’s team has lost on Thursday by 5 wickets. On that match Tamim was not at the field for a long time because of his injury. After ending the match he announced his condition of the injury in a press briefing.
“My groin has been paining lot; probably I can’t play the next two matches. Though, before those matches we have 2-3 days time. I will take the final decision then. However, my Fijio said, minimum 10 days are needed to stable this injury”. Tamim Iqbal said.
In this current tournament Chittagong Vikings has got only two victories from 8 matches. Last two matches are very much circuital for them because they have to win those matches. Otherwise they will be out of the BPL from the first round due to low point. This reality also perceived by the captain, Tamim Iqbal. After ending the match on Thursday, at the price giving ceremony his voice expressed his team’s condition.
“We have tried to play well, but we couldn’t. Now, in last two matches I will try to give something to my supporters and I will return next time more strongly ” Tamim said.
