Mahmudullah props up to amass 500 runs in BPL
Barisal Bulls icon cricketer and captain Mahmudullah Riyad on Monday blasted 51 off 45 balls to help his team accumulate their third win of the season. Barisal Bulls comprehensively won the match against Tamim Iqbal’s Chittagong Vikings by 33 runs and Mahmudullah was the prime success story for his team’s victory.

And in the process, the former Bangladesh vice-captain touched a rare feat as well. He has become only the 8th batsman in the history of the ongoing cash-rich to score 500 or more runs.
Mahmudullah, the World Cup hero for Bangladesh, is the 6th Bangladesh batsman to script this record. He now has in all 531 BPL runs to his name. On the other hand, with making 118 runs so far in this running season, Mahmudullah is also standing sixth in the chart of the leading run scorers.
