Mashrafe longs for sporting wicket
Comilla Victorians’ icon cricketer and skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza expressed his hopes to find better wicket condition in the next phase of BRB BPL T20, 2015 where the matches will take place at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
“We are hoping to play the upcoming matches in a suitable wicket condition. Curetars literally failed to make sporting wickets here because of the restlessness of pitch condition in Mirpur” – Mashrafe said.
Most of the matches in the later part of this phase were low – scoring where batsmen found it difficult to take runs. The sluggishness of the pitches helped spinners somehow.
The first round of the Dhaka phase of BRB BPL T20, 2015 has come to an end yesterday; the second round will be started from Monday at the Zahur Ahmed Chowhdury Stadium in Chittagong.
