Sylhet Superstars Got its Fourth Defeat in a Row
Dhaka Dynamites 166/6 (Sangakara 75, Nasir 33, Shaid 27-2) Beat Sylhet Super Stars 132(Nurul 35*, Mushfiq 23, Mosharof 3-15) by 34 runs
Nothing is going in favor of the Sylhet Super Stars; 4 defeats in a row has put this team into nowhere. Captain Mushfiq doesn’t feel comfortable answering the question why is everything falling apart for the team. They are starting off real well but then again they cannot pull it off at the end. Seems like this session of BPL will be a nightmare for the team if things go like this for the rest of the tournament.
Only 2 batsmen crossed 20 runs mark but couldn’t build a good innings. Their starting was good enough for the team but then again just like the other matches they couldn’t pull it off. Losing too many wickets in a short time has put the team in crisis situation again. Sylhet stopped on 132. Musfiq scored 23 and Nurul stayed 35 not out, apart from these two none of the batsmen could stand tall in the crease made it quite impossible for Sylhet to make a way out and mark their first victory. Mosharof hossain picked up 3 wickets from his 4 overs giving away only 15 runs. Mustafizur, Abul and Yasir got 2 wickets each. Farhad Reza got the last wicket and ensured the Victory for Dhaka Dynamites.
Earlier in innings Dhaka Dynamites won the toss and elected to bat first; finishes on 166/6 . Sangkara made a brisky 75 from just 56 balls and on the other hand Nasir Hossain made 33 just by hitting 3 sixes. From the bowlers perspective; it was pretty decent display from them. Bopara gave 41 from his 3 overs; Shahid got 2 wickets from his spell giving away 27 runs from his 4. Edwards, Munweera and Nasum got 1 wickets each.
