Sangakkara highly impressed by Mustafizur

The wait is almost over. Just a few more hours and then the third season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will roll onto the ground. Every match day of the tournament will see two matches. On the opening day, Chittagong Kings and Rangpur Riders will clash to kick of the competition. And then in the evening’s game, Dhaka Dynamites will lock horns with Comilla Victorians.
Dhaka Dynamites are the only side in this year’s BPL, which will be led by a foreigner. Kumar Sangakkara, the veteran Sri Lankan will shoulder the responsibility of captaincy. Sangakkara faced the reporters on Saturday ahead of their first match tomorrow where he informed that they have already finished all the pre-match preparations and now are looking for the real action.
“We have had our preparation quite well. Everyone in the team is confident and positive. Now it’s just the anticipation for the main action on the ground,” said the Sri Lankan legend at the Mirpur Academy Ground on Saturday.
Sangakkara is quite satisfied with the players he has got in his team. However, he was impressed most by the cutter-master Mustafizur Rahman, who has already established himself as a sensation in the world of cricket.
“Mustafizur is really a wonderful bowler. He proved his worth in the very first series of his career with taking as many as 13 wickets. I am feeling great to have him in the side. Hopefully he will emerge as the biggest weapon of our stock in the field. It’s really great to have such a bowler, and I am really glad,” said Sangakkara on Mustafizur.
To be noted, the match against Comilla Victorians will be Sangakkara’s debut in BPL as he was not a part of BPL in its previous two seasons.
